There still remain a few days in which to see the exhibition of photographs by Tim Walker at the Galleria Sozzani in Milan. Through his fantasy-filled, delicate images we find ourselves led into a dimension in which reality, make-believe, elegance and irony meet.
Born in England in 1970, he became interested in photography working for Conde Nast in the Cecil Beaton archive. Following his studies at the Exeter College of Art, he worked in New York as assistant to Richard Avedon. After a year he returned home, and the English countryside remains the preferred context for his sets.
He dedicates himself to portraiture and documentary works, as well as fashion photography. At the age of 25 he shot his first service for Vogue and since then, his collaboration with the British, Italian and American editions of that publication have never ceased.
