Renato D’Agostin was born in 1983, began his career in Venice in 2001 and, curious to capture special life situations with his camera, began to travel around the capitals of Europe. With a hiatus comprised of courses and work experience—respectively at the International Center of Photography in New York and Maison Sabbatini— but also working as assistant to Ralph Gibson, D’Agostin has now embarked on exhibitions. Among the most recent are the one in Washington at the Italian Cultural Institute and those in New York and Tokyo at the Leica Gallery. His show, “Tokyo Untitled” was created in collaboration with the MC2 Gallery in Milan and is accompanied by a book of the same title, with afterwords by Ralph Gibson and Eikoh Hosoe. 88 pages, available in Italian, French, Japanese and English.
